Wine Sales Consultant (posting date: 1/15/10)

Provino is looking for individuals who are experienced in direct outbound sales to join our team of wine salespeople. We sell the finest wines produced in the world to clients all over the United States. This company draws on over 75 years of experience in the wine industry. We offer a supportive and attractive work environment in Santa Rosa.

Qualifications
We have a unique niche in dealing with the personal wine enthusiast. Our mission is to educate people about the joy of fine wines and sell them to our customers today and in the future. Many of our premium wines are not available in stores or restaurants. Our clients have an opportunity to sample and enjoy wine in the comfort of their office, home or at events that we host to which they are invited such as: wine and food pairing dinners, banquet events, trade shows/exhibitions, warehouse sales, etc.

We are seeking to grow our office in Santa Rosa CA and are searching for the right people. This position involves management of current clientele and multiple winery accounts. The ideal candidate should have the following qualities to be successful:

* MUST have previous experience selling products over the phone
* An outgoing personality
* The ability to interact professionally with people on the telephone
* Wine knowledge a plus, but not required
* Can overcome objections and close sales over the phone
* Are a great networker with the ability to develop leads
* Enjoy thinking out of the box and are open to trying new and exciting things
* Are reliable and predictable
* Enjoy working on a performance and incentive-based pay structure
* Are over the age of 21

We pay the highest commissions in the business + bonuses, company stock ownership & competitive benefits packages.  40 hours per week.
