Winery Sales Consultant (posting date: 6/8/11)

Provino is looking for individuals who are experienced in inside sales to join our sales team. We sell the finest wines produced in the world for some of the most prestigious wineries in wine country to clients all over the United States. Our company draws on over 75 years of experience in the wine industry. We offer a supportive and attractive work environment in Santa Rosa.

Qualifications
We are seeking to grow our office in Santa Rosa CA and are searching for the right people. This position involves management of current clientele and multiple winery accounts. The ideal candidate should have the following qualities to be successful:

* Must have previous sales experience
* An outgoing personality
* The ability to interact professionally with people on the telephone
* Wine knowledge not required
* Can overcome objections and close sales over the phone
* Are reliable and predictable
* Enjoy working on a performance and incentive-based pay structure
* Are over the age of 21

Love wine? Love the world of wine? Ever thought about a sales career in the wine business? Do you have experience selling over the phone?

Provino is one of the fastest growing companies in the North Bay and we specialize in selling wine to consumers. We've been in business for 3 years now, and we're experiencing explosive growth despite the "bad" economy. Why? By using advanced sales and marketing expertise and techniques, our sales staff sells to the winery’s existing customer base. Provino has forged long-term, strategic relationships with many of the most prestigious winery brands in the business, and we need your help servicing them!

We are a growing our sales organization in Santa Rosa and we have immediate openings for the right candidates. Have you sold products and/or services before? Like talking to customers and selling things? Have you sold anything over the phone before? This is not an entry level position - if your sales skills are top notch, we will provide training and education in our industry, so no prior knowledge of wine or selling wine is required. We pay hourly plus commissions based on achieving sales goals. There are NO caps on commissions and some of our salespeople are making six figure incomes. There is NO cold calling - all sales are to qualified and interested prospects and established customers who love wine and love to talk about wine. We also offer comprehensive benefits packages for those who make the cut.

Pay = Hourly + Commission and Bonuses

If you are a professional, energetic, driven, goal orientated person with demonstrated PRIOR sales experience, then this is the job for you. You must have/be:

PRIOR SALES EXPERIENCE
DEMONSTRATED SALES RESULTS
SUCCESS ORIENTED
Strong Verbal Sales Skills, ability to utilize effective questioning skills and closing techniques.
Able to manage and overcome customer objections through value building.
Able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, self-motivated, assertive, organized and detail oriented.
Excellent oral and written communications skills / excellent ability to conduct successful business by phone.
Positive attitude and confident self image
Strong communication skills
Ability to work as a contributing member of a team
Ability to contribute to a positive work atmosphere by meeting established standards and practices.

Requirements:

Work exclusively out of our office in Santa Rosa, NO EXCEPTIONS. This is not a telecommuting job.
